Spanish- or French-speaking Nanny – Long-term position in Hampstead, London (with travel to Paris)
A warm and welcoming family based in Hampstead, London is looking for a native Spanish or French-speaking nanny with higher education to care for their two children (ages 3 and 5) on a long-term basis starting September 1st, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience in stable, long-term roles with families, and a genuine passion for childcare and education.
The family regularly travels to Paris during school holidays and half-terms, usually for one-week periods, and they would like the nanny to accompany them. During these stays, they provide a private apartment for the nanny's use.
In London, they are open to both live-in or live-out arrangements. For live-in candidates, a private apartment near their home is available.
Job Details:
- Location: Hampstead, London (with regular travel to Paris).
- Accommodation:
London: Live-in or live out. Private apartment available for live-in option.
Paris: Private apartment provided during stays.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
- Start Date: September 1st, 2025.
- Salary: Negotiable depending on the candidate.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Offer loving, stimulating, and structured care for the children.
- Support educational and creative development through play, reading, and conversation.
- Manage school drop-offs and pick-ups, coordinate after-school routines.
- Accompany the family during school holidays to Paris, maintaining continuity and care.
Requirements:
- Native Spanish or French speaker with good English communication skills.
- Higher education.
- Proven long-term experience with families.
- Updated CV.
- Two written references with contact details.
- First Aid certification.
- DBS check.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Flexibility to travel and stay with the family abroad.
