United Kingdom:

Nanny salary ranges typically start at £20 and can go up to £40 per hour or more, depending on the candidate's qualifications, experience and job requirements.

In addition to the standard rates, many professional nannies in the UK receive the following benefits: annual bonuses, housing assistance, private health insurance, transport expenses for nanny's commute, and opportunities for professional development.

United States:

Nanny salary ranges typically start at $30 per hour and can go up to $50 per hour or more (depending on the candidate's expertise, role specifications and expectation, and geographical location) plus overtime if applicable. With highly experienced and well-qualified nannies potentially earning at the higher end of the range.

In addition to those rates, most professional nannies receive the following benefits: paid time off (PTO), paid holidays and sick days, a health insurance stipend, and in some cases, a retirement plan, a discretionary annual bonus and relocation assistance.
